Studies provide evidence that the average web User looks at your home page for a half to a full second, before deciding to leave or stay. Does your homepage have the main and necessary essentials, or does it have lots of information crammed onto it? These studies validate that a home page which is shorter and will completely fit with-in the Users' main screen, with-out vertical scrolling, are significantly more likely to be further traveled into.
